When you are overweight or obese, you tend to have low morale. Your peers and friends start teasing you just because of your excessive size and weight. • Never skip breakfast: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Nowadays teens happily skip breakfast giving an excuse of not having enough time after the morning chores. Just as bathing and brushing keep you fresh, morning food is essential to energize the systems. Remember that you have not had any food for the last 8 to 10 hours during your sleep. When the system is ready for the day, it needs its fuel. Never deny that.
• Eat more fruits and vegetables: Whether you like it or not, adding more fruits and vegetables will keep your physical systems healthy and more alert. This is because of almost all the nutrients available in these golden dishes.
• Eat slowly: Make sure to eat slowly. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes for the brain to receive the satiating signals to stop feeding. The slower you eat, the lesser is consumed, which will again help you in losing weight. Do not watch television or indulge in video game while eating. Make sure you chew the morsels well before swallowing. This encourages proper digestion process and releases more energies.
• Cut down soda and junk foods: It is fashionable to drink lots of soda and gulp junk foods especially while get-togethers and parties. Try to avoid these to stay in perfect shape.
